One of the American car giant, Ford Motor Co. (FMC), has prepared a sports utility vehicle (SUV) medium that will be exhibited at the Detroit Motor Show, January 2011. According to sources from Ford who told Automotive News and Carscoop ahead of this weekend, it will replace the brand-new crossover Kuga crossover market in Europe and Escape (SUV) in America.
Still from the source, this new SUV is produced in the second half of 2012 and sold as 2013 models for the American market first. Ford itself has not decided whether the vehicle was wearing brand-new Kuga name or Escape, or share your name when the unit already exists. Another option, the possibility of using one name for Ford's global marketplace, such as the Fiesta and Focus.
For production, Ford has appointed two plants, each in Louisville, Kentucky (United States), and Saarlouis, Germany. In connection with the arrival of the new SUV, the plant in Saarlouis likely no longer produce the Kuga, but only focuses on the new Focus, both four-door, five-door and station wagon, plus a new SUV.
